bpEnvironmental Product Profile

•Exclusive licensing agreements for proprietary digester technology and equipment are secured, including ancillary systems for associated solids, liquid, and off-gas treatment.

•Digester systems can be configured to process effluent outflows from other sources, such as dairy/cheese plants (whey), malting plants, certain food processing plants, and small to medium municipal and subdivision needs or requirements.

•Hog digester system features effective odor destruction within 24 hours and liquid/solids breakdown and separation within 48 hours of start-up.

•Deodorized digester output water is pathogen free and can be recycled/reused in arid or environmentally sensitive locations. An automated barn flush system has been designed and is in use presently.

•Output solids are effectively deodorized and dewatered and can be spread or processed for bagging as saleable compost/fertilizer.

•Output liquids have nutrient value and can be spread or concentrated and processed for distribution as an organic based spray.

•Digester outputs can be considered as a value-added commodity to the producer or contractor. Options for gathering, processing, and marketing by the company, are under review.

•The modular digester system is constructed of stainless steel on skids and can be installed onsite or mounted on lowboy trailers for contract operations, leasing, or export.

•Project management and construction supervision for on-site installations is performed by company staff. Modifications to existing facilities, if required, will be designed to local relevant building codes and submitted to client for review and implementation. Startup and operator training is carried out by company personnel.

•Service contract and technical support is available to both on-site and mobile systems.

Liquid Output

•Liquids are deodorized, pathogen free following treatment, and resemble Fresca soda beverage in appearance and color.

•Liquids are also high in nutrient content and can be discharged onto fields through conventional irrigation systems, by spraying, or injection.

•Existing dugouts, lagoons, or storage facilities can be converted for WATER REUSE to aid in reducing irrigation costs and supplementing nutrients required by field crops.

•Portions of the liquid generated can be REUSED as barn flush water or wash water.

•Liquid quality and B.O.D. reduction is within municipal guidelines for treated sewerage discharge.

•Optional post-treatment is available that will upgrade discharge liquid to greywater status, if required.

•THE ODOR IS GONE.

Solid Output

•After treatment and de-watering is complete, the odor of the solids resembles freshly tilled soil. This process is vitally important, as the increasing public and activist outcry regarding the offensive odor generated by untreated manure is becoming a negative issue for the producers.

•The digested solids resemble compost, therefore greatly reducing the impact on soil when spreading on the surface. Field rotation can be intensified as a result of the very low B.O.D. of the dewatered, digested solids. In some cases extra land for spreading may not be required.

•Studies have indicated that digested manure contains more nutrients than raw manure.

•Digested solids have a retail cash value to the producer either in bulk or bagged form. (i.e. compost retails for about $9.00 per 20 Kg. bag).

•THE ODOR IS GONE.
